“Coming Out”

Whilst Jayne had “come out” to her friends and family in early 2009, she first “came out” in a public role in February 2015 when accepting the voluntary role of Director of Accepting Evangelicals.

Ruth Gledhill of Christian Today first broke the story on February 2nd 2015 in an exclusive video interview with Jayne about her decision,.

Given her previous high profile position within the Church of England as a founding member of the Archbishops’ Council, there followed much media interest from around the world.
