Shared Conversations

In September 2014 the Church of England announced that it would conduct two years of Shared Conversations.  In 2015 she was asked to be part of the Oversight Group led by David Porter that was put together by Lambeth Palace in order to monitor reactions from amongst the LGBT community.

Jayne took part in three sets of conversations – the first organised by CEEC in March 2015, a regional conversation in April 2016 (for Oxford and St Albans dioceses) and one at the General Synod in July 2016.

You can read her reflections on the July 2016 General Synod experience in bespoke pieces for both the Church of England Newspaper and the Church Times.

She also wrote about the experience after the regional conversations in April 2016 for the Church of England Newspaper.
